The family are in need. I'm up again with YHWH's gift of pain. I say that because, although it's punished me pretty badly the past sixteen years and I haven't always copied well, it's also driven me into His arms, given me time awake in the middle of they night to ponder and to read, and time to pray.
In this case, I started off questioning the meaning and appropriateness of the lyrics in TobyMac's "Funky Jesus Music" where it talks about "gimme that juicy flow". It had been in my mind a bit. Needless to say the phrase has sexualities connotations in many references, and yoga connotations in other situations. Despite much reading, I never found a Christian reference.
But I did find this blog. Three page with these sermons seems to cover good subject matter; much needed when more sermons than not just 'tickle the ears' of the hearer!
