The gorilla in the investment house.

I've had so many people over the years tell me houses only go up in value. These same people often listen to investment advisors that tell them how to leverage their real estate investment to the max and end up with a string of investment properties, with each property paying itself off.
For the past thirty years of so, this has largely worked. I personally know people who had very little and started buying up country real estate using this investment model. Last I heard, they have over thirty properties.

The question to be asked though is not "what happens if it all goes well?". The investment advisors, who make commissions on lending, will tell you all about what will happen if it goes well. No, the question to ask is like the gorilla in the room. Some people know it's there. Some people are worried it could be there. Some people have really nice rose coloured glasses from reading investment books and pumping up their expectations at seminars, and barely acknowledge it could be there at all. But it's there alright. Risk always is there. And this time, it looks like the gorilla could cause a bit of distress; perhaps even wreckage.

Before you read the attached stories for a quick survey of what some pundits are saying, think with me a moment. Let's consider a scenario...

You bought your first home and we're paying it off happily when someone convinced you to invest using equity of that home. Let's say you left 10% equity in your home so you could get the investment property you wanted.
Let's suppose that over the next three years you managed to procure three more properties, each with just ten percent equity.
Then two years ago, when you saw some bargains, you thought carefully and stretched for one more property, thinking "This is my last!", and "I've got all I needed now". You were satisfied knowing you had a sustainable investment strategy with brick and mortar investments you could control.
All is good in the land of perpetual gains.
Think a bit further on the scenario though. How much would it take to collapse the whole thing? I'm not talking about a drop in wages or unemployment. Maybe just a call from the bank to say you're a bit over-exposed due to a drop in prices.
Let's say you experience a five percent fall in property values. That would leave you with only five percent equity. If the bank wants you back up to ten percent, (or heaven forbid twenty percent) you would need to sell half of your houses. And that pre-supposes you get market value for them on what maybe perceived so now being a falling market.
Now let's consider a ten percent drop. This would remove ALL EQUITY from ALL YOUR HOUSES. You would absolutely be back to square one. Our maybe worse. I can tell you as someone who has suffered loss due to a bad neck injury, that when you have lost the family home, it's not easy to get back in the market. Prices are now gastronomically high, and having a family to support makes it so much more difficult that when you were first married. Do you think you could negotiate or sell your way into keeping the family home? I hope so.
Go back to that five percent drop, but consider the bank could ask you to find twenty percent equity in your family home, and maybe one investment home. Just for safety. You would be very lucky indeed to keep the family home and one investment property in this scenario.

I hope I haven't scared you too much. It's just that the USA owed so many trillions of dollars to the global banks that it never repay them, and many experts are saying the 'fiat currency system' of the petro-dollar WILL totally collapse. China is the same, but instead of spending the money on entertainment, holidays and new cars, the Chinese have spent it on infrastructure. The truth is, there are only two countries left in the world without a central bank at this stage, which means we're all in the same boat. Argentina is in a horrible mess, as are some other South American countries. Africa is a basket case. Europe has shocked everyone, making front page news with its financial mess, and even the Saudis seem to be in trouble too.

What's the point? The point is we've never been here before. The point is we're looking worse on a global basis than any other time in modern history. It's bad for the governments. It's bad for corporations and retailers. It's a real squeeze for dad's and mums. Canada, which from memory is a first world country, is getting really messy, and food prices are going up. We in Australia can probably expect the same.
If a fall in house prices is accompanied by a hiccup like adverse weather, or (God forbid) a storm in the financial world, people who are heavily leveraged will be up to their armpits in dung and without a space to dig themselves out.

So read the articles below, even if briefly, and if you are 'heavily leveraged', think really seriously about reducing your exposure so you can cope with 'adverse events'. I'd rather be remembered as the guy who wrote a warning than the guy you ignored and lost everything. And I'd rather be disagreed with our even poked fun at than not say anything when the signs are so clear.
Lastly, it may take a few years yet before the global financial system makes a larger adjustment than we've ever seen. This will be due to the collapse or complete reengineering of the USA and world trading system,  but any expert without their head in the sand (or stuck somewhere else unpleasant) will tell you there's probably no way to avoid a global restart at this stage. The only question is WHEN. Perhaps this magazine cover from some years ago could be a clue?

Depopulation at its finest! Turkey clears our more Kurds

Turkish soldiers engage Kurdish activists in Diyarbakir, 4 wounded - report https://www.rt.com/news/331550-diyarbakir-soldiers-vs-kurds/.

And what will be left if the ethnic group that mainly occupies an area is thinned out to just a few percent of its long held population level? Maybe no one much. That's the same with Syria and other areas of the Middle East.

Oh my goodness! If there's no one there I guess the NWO natural resource cartels will just have to take the oil and other resources without much in the way of permission or compensation. What a shame for the NWO! I guess they are basically good guys with an interest in 'humanitarian aid'; and under the Catholic Pope's 'Just War' policy they see war as the JUST thing to do. But more than that, their way of seizing control of the sovereign resources of another nation, is solely, ie. JUST, WAR!!!

Welcome to our brave new, entirely just world as talked up for generations of brainwashed mega rich cronies like the Bush family, Cheney, Clintons, Kissingers and anyone else that's a NWO puppet politician in the good old USA. I don't know about you, but I'm glad to see China putting into nations in irreverence to the NWO, and Bagot to see Putin getting accolades for straight shooting, forthright international diplomacy that exposes the rampant corrupt Military Industrial Complex and NWO henchmen.

USA wants Syrian talks at Geneva as war effort fails

Talks between Syrian factions at Geneva pushed by USA (30 Jan 2016)

Al Jazeera has reported on TV today that there will be talks (again) at Geneva between the Syrian Government and the ‘opposition’. The phrase ‘transition of government’ was mentioned.

Why, after putting in so much effort in a war in Syria, would the USA now want talks? It seems the USA had decided to engage in a war in Syria to help sort things out. So what’s really happening here?

FACT 1: There has been swathes of information coming to light that USA trained, and is supplying arms to IS. The USA may seem to be intent on killing off IS so ‘free elections’ can take place in Syria with the intent of replacing the current, problematic (for the USA) government, but killing a monster of its own making is unlikely.

FACT 2: IS has been selling oil from captured facilities via Turkey, where the President has been making a tidy dollar on sales (sort of like the oil invested politicians in the USA), so USA has an interest in having IS succeed.

FACT 3: The entry of Russia into the war has proved very embarrassing to the USA, because Russia has achieved in a week what the USA could not achieve in a year. That’s because Russia is genuinely intent on working with the elected Syrian government to bring IS to its knees and restore the rule of legitimate government.

FACT 4: The USA makes much noise about how bad the Syrian government is, and that it’s their humanitarian duty to effect ‘regime change’. If you’ve been keeping tabs on the large number of wars the USA has waged around the world, always in countries of geo-political or resource rich significance, you’ll probably be a bit sceptical about the ‘humanitarian duty’ spin by now. The USA acts in its own interest, which is actually the interest of the groups that really manage the government, being ultra-rich Jews and corporations.

FACT 5: We may not like the government, but it was elected, and the best chance Syria has of lasting peace is for they themselves to handle elections and install new government representative of the people.

FACT 6: Russia being on the ground in Syria has indelibly changed the game. I believe Russia has now set up a missile defence system which means it can control the air space tightly if needed. I. E.  The USA is no longer the big player in Syria; Russia is .

FACT 7: Russia is getting more popular in the region. Other governments are looking at Russia favourably because they play more straightly than the USA. The USA has largely soiled itself as far as it's presence in the Middle East in concerned, and well known plans of the USA for regime change in a number of Middle Eastern countries have run amuck. Iraq is looking to Russia to help stabilise the nation, and is increasingly agitated with ‘help’ from the USA.

What’s an empire to do when a lesser empire enters the game an gains strategic advantage in a contested territory? I know, let's resort to DIPLOMACY! That’s exactly what we are seeing now. The USA can’t win the war the way it wants in Syria, looking like it has defeated IS and ousting the elected government so it can manipulate the future. The media machine that runs the USA is always ready to help with a new country so it can install itself and associated corporations there. Wars are waged on several levels: diplomatically, perceived warfare (like USA supposedly targeting IS), actual warfare (like Russia hitting IS), broadcast media and Internet, economically, with bribes and promises of wealth and power, and the list goes on. The USA has all of these in its arsenal, and having lost the ‘perceived war’, is now trying ‘diplomacy’.

Will the talks in Geneva achieve anything? I’m really not sure. It seems the Syrian Government is well aware of the USA’s devices, and doesn’t want any part of them; but it will probably have to consider the UN as part of its future. Maybe any involvement of the UN will be enough to pressure Assad to the negotiating table. Meanwhile Syria will continue to stabilise thanks to the Russians help.

I think a good part of the significance of these talks will be affected by the state of Syria when the parties actually make it to the table. If Syria continues to stabilise and the USA loses more of a foothold, then it may be that the existing government will regain full control with Russia as a resident helper. If not, then maybe the USA (which really represents the NWO / globalists in this case) will have a chance to manipulate Syria into a corner and gain what they want.

3pm Update: « It seems the Messiah people have been left out of the USA's last of parties for discussion of these matters, and is probable there will be no genuine process until they are invited a they effectively rule a band of northern Syria. »

Finally, this is all about Geo-Politics and resoucres. The globalists with USA and NATO behind them really want this region under their control. They have planned for regime change in the area for many years, and are quite determined to make it happen despite the hiccups. The big question remains: what will they try next if the situation in Syria stabilises, with Syria resisting the globalists and getting closer to Russia. My first guess is economic warfare. Sanctions / trade embargos. That’s been a big one for them. They’ve used it on Iran, Russian Cuba and a swathe of other countries.

We’re living in momentous times, and bible prophecy from thousands of years ago is coming alive before our eyes. I’m not going to speculate right now on this, but I’ll certainly be referencing the prophecies concerned if it gets any more obvious! Meanwhile, when you hear of wars and rumours of wars (like the USA fighting IS!!!), do what the bible says: “look up, for your redemption draws nigh”; which means the second coming of Jesus Christ is coming near, and we will see him as he arrives in the sky to sort out this mess.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

USA/BBC says Putin is hiding wealth and has dodgy connections. All move over Bush family, Cheney, Clintons and more in the good old USA Military Industrial Complex! It's amazing how many times the NWO front men will try to tar someone else with the very behaviour they are guilty of!

Contrived State of Economic Emergency & Oil Prices Set to Plunge

If you hold the reigns of global financial infrastructure, the largest global banks and a lot of retail banks; there's a lot you can do. When you add in controlling interests in many of the world's oil producers, you have quite a lot of control over supply and pricing.

France has declared a state of economic emergency. Experts in Scotland are saying "sell everything!'. The New York Stock Exchange is having a heart attack. Who knows what will happen from one day to the next? Probably only those that engineer it. I well remember talking to a currency trader, who said he and his colleagues could see an 'invisible hand' controlling the markets. They could read the signs to a certain point, and make profits, but if they knew exactly when the market would hit a high or low, they could vastly increase their fortunes. The people in the shadows who steer the markets use the ups and downs to harvest money and power from those with less market insight.

So here's a recent video talking about 'ECONOMIC COLLAPSE: France Declares State of Economic Emergency Oil Prices Set to Plunge'.
